The last few times we stayed there, we found that they did not have many table games open in the morning on weekdays. They should take into consideration where their customers are travelling from - in our case, it is a 12 hour drive, so we cannot always make our visits within a six month timeline.
Also, now they are also removing our reward comp dollars after only 6 months. This time, since we did not get the free room offer, we stayed at other casinos in the area where we do get this perk, so we probably will never get the free room offer again. When we inquired they said it all depends on the amount of playing time, but as far as we could tell, we have not changed our playing time - naturally when we actually stay at the hotel we would have more time to play, so since we did stay there last time our playing time had not changed. In the past we also received a free buffet coupon, not this time. This is the first time in many years that we did not receive complimentary rooms.
We visit the Tunica area and the casinos two - three times a year and have always rated Hollywood Casino/Hotel very highly, but not this time.
